Treat someone to dinner at Vogue Boat Restaurant, looking out at the Margaret Bridge and the Castle District. An evening with time to talk, to taste something good, and to step away from the everyday.
We've been welcoming guests on the Danube for more than 30 years, and our favourite moment is still the same: when nobody is in a hurry to go home after the last course.
The boat is moored on the Pest embankment, between the Margaret and Árpád bridges. The bridge, the Castle District and the lights of the city set the scene for dinner.
In winter there's a seat by the fireplace; in the warmer months, the terrace over the river. The boat stays put, so the evening is all about the food and the company.
Chef Balázs Bárkovits brings together Hungarian, Balkan and Mediterranean cooking.
Meat from the charcoal-fired Josper oven, fish, and cakes baked in-house: there's something on the menu for everyone.
The gift isn't tied to a particular evening. They decide when to come.
Value vouchers are valid for 180 days and the romantic dinner for 90 days from purchase. A table reservation is required.

Both can be bought online, and you can order several vouchers at once.

The package includes the dishes and drinks listed above; any additional drinks are paid on the night. The date must be agreed and confirmed in advance.

Prices are in Hungarian forints (HUF) and payment is taken in HUF; euro amounts are approximate. The romantic dinner includes the 15% service charge. A value voucher can be used for food, drinks and the service charge.

There are two kinds. Value vouchers come in amounts from 10,000 to 100,000 HUF and can be spent on anything from the food and drinks menu. The romantic dinner voucher, for 39,900 HUF, is a ready-made three-course dinner for two, with sparkling wine and a candlelit table with a view.
By email, as a printable PDF, sent to the address you give when ordering.
If you pay by card, we send it once the payment goes through. If you pay by bank transfer, we send it within 48 hours of the money arriving.

Yes. Because we email the voucher as a PDF, there's no postal delivery to wait for. If it's urgent, pay by card: a bank transfer takes time to arrive.
A value voucher is valid for 180 days from purchase, and the romantic dinner voucher for 90 days.
For example, a value voucher bought on 15 October is valid until mid-April, and a romantic dinner until mid-January.
They book a table in advance; there's no need to give the voucher code when booking.
When they arrive, they let us know they're using a gift voucher and show us the printed voucher.
It can be used for anything from the à la carte food and drinks menu at Vogue Boat Restaurant, up to the value of the voucher.
The romantic dinner voucher is different: it covers the dinner for two described in the package.
The 39,900 HUF romantic dinner already includes the 15% service charge.
A value voucher can cover the service charge as well as food and drinks, up to the value of the voucher.
If they spend more, they pay the difference on the night.
If they spend less, we can't refund the remaining balance or carry it over to another visit. Each voucher can be used once and can't be exchanged for cash.
Yes, a reservation is required to use the voucher. The date depends on availability and our confirmation.
Different terms may apply on special event nights and set-menu evenings.
No. There's no name or message on the voucher, so you can give it to anyone.
If you'd like to make it more personal, add a handwritten note.
Yes. You can buy up to 20 vouchers in one order, in different amounts if you like. Each one has its own unique code.

Vouchers can be used on any opening day, with a reservation and in line with the terms of use.
No. Vogue Boat Restaurant is a restaurant boat permanently moored on the Carl Lutz embankment in Budapest.
It doesn't go on cruises, so guests can enjoy the Danube and the city view throughout dinner.
Vogue Boat Restaurant is at Carl Lutz rakpart XIII/19., 1137 Budapest, on the Pest side of the Danube between the Margaret and Árpád bridges.
You can park on the embankment in front of the boat. Parking is paid on weekdays between 8:00 and 22:00.
